That was then

I can’t sit idle anymore. I feel I need to occupy something. If not for me then for my recent college graduate. The thing is this stuff isn’t anything new. We were caught in the traps over 20 years ago. But then we just thought it was us. We were young and didn’t realize the cards were stacked against us. We did what we were told. went to school, got good grades, graduated, and to what an economy and situation that didn’t/wasn’t ready for us. But we still thought it was our fault. we made some poor decision. I a science teacher. He a computer programmer. What did we do wrong?

  1. You committed the unforgivable sin of being born into the wrong family, the wrong time, and the wrong place. Had you only exercised the foresight to be born at a different time, or into a “better” (read: wealthier) family, you wouldn’t have these problems.
